Administrivia
LVL Mailing Lists
Since few people work for DEC/Compaq these days (does anyone?) we have made
arrangements for an external mailing list. Two lists for LVL have been
established on newts.org,
lvl-admin for
team captains, seconds and club officers, and
lvl-officers for LVL club
officers. These lists are maintained using "mailmain" by
Betty Lew the LVL secretary.
Other Places To Play
If you are looking for more volleyball in the area check out the
Yankee Volleyball Association
web page. Yankee is a non-profit organization whose charter is to
advance and promote volleyball in the New England area. They
do this in part by sanctioning day long tournaments at various ability
levels. Their web page has information about
places to play,
interesting
volleyball links, and
ways to go about joining Yankee.
Several towns in the area have recreational volleyball through their
respective Town Recreation Departments, including Littleton, Acton,
Concord and Groton. During the summer
Nashoba Ski Valley
holds a league outdoors on lighted "sand" courts.
